Composite steel-concrete trusses and prefabricated beams

How it works: in Tecnostrutture’s modern production centres, the steel part is manufactured and CE marked.

On site, the beams are immediately positioned, with no need for storage areas. The crane operator moves the horizontal load-bearing structures from the truck, installing them directly, with the help of just 2 workers and taking 5 minutes per beam. Being self-supporting, the NPS® beams can be walked on already during assembly, without requiring formwork and props. The floor underneath is immediately available for the installers to continue their work. This enormously speeds up the construction site and makes for tidier and cleaner spaces.

The concrete casting takes place simultaneously with that of the slab and NPS® columns. This is, in a nutshell, the assembly process of the semi-prefabricated truss beams.
