Our concrete commitment
Environmental
Reduced emissions throughout the life cycle
An LCA study conducted by the University of Genoa shows that NPS® structures can reduce environmental impact by 18% compared to steel or reinforced concrete solutions.
Embodied carbon counts
More than 50% of new construction emissions (2020-2050) will be related to materials and construction (source: BuildingLife Roadmap). It is therefore essential to also consider embodied carbon. NPS® beams offer an efficient and sustainable structural solution.
EPD, sustainability in transparency
NPS® products are provided with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), verified by an independent third party. This instrument certifies the environmental impact in a transparent and objective manner, measuring indicators such as CO₂ emissions. The EPD enables a reliable comparison of different structural solutions, supporting conscious, sustainability-oriented design choices.Supporting Green Public Procurement
NPS® System meets Italian CAM standards, aligned with the key environmental goals of EU Green Public Procurement.Contribution to LEED and DGNB
NPS® solutions contribute to obtaining credits in the main environmental certification protocols, such as LEED and DGNB.
A detailed list of achievable credits, validated by an independent third-party company, is available to support designers and investors in making an informed choice of building systems.
Reduced materials, optimised spaces
NPS® beams and columns are more compact for the same performance compared to traditional solutions. This means less raw materials and more usable space. Less raw materials mean less CO2.Intelligent transport and less waste
We offer logistics by rail or green fuel and assembly can take place just in time. NPS® needs no packaging, so zero waste.
Circular raw materials
We use steel with up to 93% recycled content and track deliveries. 100% of raw materials used are recyclable.
Renewable energy in production
The entire production process is powered by 100% renewable energy, part of which is self-generated.
NPS® Flex: design for disassembly
Our demountable system is designed to be reusable. A circular, concrete solution that is already available.
