NATIVE FIRE RESISTANCE; A SIMPLE SPLICING OF A LONG-SPAN BEAM LAID WITHOUT PROPS ON THE MAIN TRUNK.
The former Ministry of Defence site at 10, rue Saint-Dominique is undergoing major works to create 254 homes, a gymnasium and a crèche.
The building will also house a 150-room palace with a rooftop, two swimming pools, a 62-space car park, a sports centre, a spa and three restaurants, including a gourmet restaurant in the heart of Paris.
NPS® beams were used as the structural solution for the large spans of the 1500 m² gymnasium. 23 21-metre NPS® beams, delivered in three sections, were connected on site quickly and easily by bolting.
