Sculpture, Venice Airport

Tecnostrutture also enters the world of art. It is in fact responsible for making and assembling “Slancio” a public work of sculpture in the Marco Polo Airport of Venice.

It is a triangular prism in COR-TEN steel, curvilinear, spiraliform, which reaches a height of 9 metres.

Designed by sculptors Giacomo Tringali and Massimo Mazzone, Slancio is an example of “constructed sculpture”, neither moulded nor sculpted, which looks like the trajectory of an aeroplane landing or taking off.
