The high static performance of multi-storey PTC® columns associated with compact slab fields, 2.9x6 metres, allowed pillar dimensions to be limited to 25 x 25 cm with evident benefits in the use of interior spaces.
About 50 pillars were laid every day, for a total of 800 centrifuged pillars (2700 metres), thanks to work carried out by 1 crane operator and 4 workers.
The high degree of base connection finishing, and the careful study of column foundation connection permitted traditional levelling operations with expanding mortar to be avoided.
