NPS® Truss Beam

NPS® Truss beams are steel trusses for the construction of pre-assembled steel-concrete composite beams. They must be supported during construction, but provide high fire resistance.

They are suitable for use with predalles type slabs as they do not require any additional formwork as a result of the latter's slab work.

The fire resistance is due to the in-situ concrete that completely encases the truss and protects it from direct exposure to high temperature gases. This results in trusses with a high degree of prefabrication and fire resistance characteristics.
